Kemble Interiors is a design studio founded in 1982 by Palm Beach native Mimi Maddock McMakin. With locations in Palm Beach, New York, and London, the firm creates vibrant, richly layered interiors that combine tradition with a fresh perspective. McMakin’s daughter, Celerie Kemble, is her partner in the New York office. Their shared decorating approach places the client’s personality and daily life at the center of a project, balancing decorative charm and whimsy with comfort and aesthetic integrity.

The studio’s work includes homes across America, while McMakin’s experience encompasses respectful restoration in estates and clubs designed by Mizner, Volk, and Urban. She has worked in consultation with licensed architects and contractors to bring comfort and beauty to clients’ homes.
