Jonathan Baron, ASID

Jonathan Baron Design, Inc., also known as Jonathan Baron Interiors, is a New York City interior design practice founded in 1995. Led by founder and principal Jonathan Baron, ASID, a New York State Certified Interior Designer, the team specializes in lobbies, hallways, and shared spaces for cooperative, condominium, and rental buildings. Its work also includes homes, apartments, hotels, office lobbies, restaurants, cafes, and event spaces. The practice serves Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester, Long Island, and New Jersey.

The studio’s approach emphasizes functional, timeless interiors that reflect a building’s existing architectural character. Material choices take maintenance, durability, and cost into account, with the aim of creating attractive spaces that last. Jonathan begins projects by listening to clients and works closely with boards, design committees, shareholders, and other stakeholders to develop choices and build consensus. He personally directs planning, design, development, and installation, from the first meetings through the final punch list. Alongside interior design and interior architecture, the team provides lighting design, graphic and signage design, and project management. Its common-area work extends to front entrances, elevators, and mailbox areas, bringing attention to the everyday spaces residents and visitors use.
